Our 2022 Clos du Bois Chardonnay is a fragrant, medium-bodied wine from the rugged coast of California. Aromas of white flower and honeycomb rise from the glass. Layers of baked white peach and pear lead to a rich mouthfeel with a touch of toasted caramel. The wine finishes with lingering lemon zest acidity.

Viticulture Notes
The fruit for our Chardonnay was grown in select vineyards from up and down the coast of California.

Winemaking Notes
To preserve the Chardonnay’s fruit characteristics, we harvested the grapes at night in cool air before gently pressing them. The juice was fermented on a combination of French and American oak in stainless steel. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation to soften the acidity and impart a richness and creaminess to the mouthfeel.
