Our founder believed in a simple, honest premise: The best grapes make the best wines. Today, the legacy continues with a range of beautifully structured and unforgettable Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Grapes for this wine were sourced predominantly from the North Coast’s renowned Sonoma County and Lake County appellations, where distinct Cabernet Sauvignon thrives. The fertile valleys of Sonoma County, primarily Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley, and the dusty, volcanic soils of Lake County provided ample ripeness and structure in 2017. Attentive and careful tending to the vines allowed us to ensure the grapes ripened evenly and were picked at optimal maturity come harvest. Our 2017 California Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied and intricately layered wine. Vibrant black cherry and rich mocha are primary on the palate, with black currant, pomegranate and vanilla spice rounding out the dense layers. The structure is both supple and round, offering approachability now and a generous, seamless texture with aging.

Our 2017 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a boisterous wine with an assertive profile, offering ripe notes of blackcurrant, plum, crushed fennel and cedar. Rich and rustic, this Cabernet features distinct brambly undertones and finishes memorably with structured, lingering tannins.

The 2014 Cabernet Franc is an elegant wine with a basket of aromas and flavors, ranging from raspberry to blueberry to rose and brown spice. The wine peaks with dark chocolate, mineral and toast. The silky texture and luscious body create a long finish and potential to age at least a decade.
