Our 2018 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is an approachable, fruit-driven wine. It offers a welcomingly round mouthfeel with ripe notes of red fruit and cherry. Delicate hints of dark chocolate and oak spice on the finish add layers of elegance and freshness, offering a rich yet balanced expression of the varietal.

The 2014 Cabernet Franc is an elegant wine with a basket of aromas and flavors, ranging from raspberry to blueberry to rose and brown spice. The wine peaks with dark chocolate, mineral and toast. The silky texture and luscious body create a long finish and potential to age at least a decade.

Our Louis M. Martini Monte Rosso Mountain Red is an homage to the great wines of Southern France, with a California twist. This fragrant blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Grenache wafts out of the glass with aromas of black raspberries and kirsch liqueur with subtle hints of Herbs de Provence and dark roast coffee. The zesty palate includes a medley of savory flavors of dark fruit notes complemented by Monte Rosso’s signature spices. It has the vineyard’s classic frame of balanced acidity and notes of iron. The wine’s depth, mouthwatering fruit and lush mouthfeel display the extraordinary complexity that can be produced from this world-class mountain vineyard.

The Louis M. Martini 2016 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the best of the warm, narrow Dry Creek Valley and the hot yet wind-cooled Alexander Valley. Together, these unique features create a balanced Cabernet Sauvignon with concentrated notes of dark fruit, black tea and cocoa. The full-bodied mouthfeel leads to a supple and persistent finish.

Our Gnarly Vine Zinfandel grapes were picked and sorted by hand. They were then gravity fed into small, open top tanks for a two-day cold soak before primary fermentation. The wine was aged in a combination of French oak barrels (53% new) and American oak barrels (25% new) for a total of 16 months. Vibrant, juicy red raspberry pie unfurls on the palate, accented by the historic vineyard’s signature dusty earth overtones. The fruit aromas are set against a spicy backdrop of cinnamon stick and Sichuan pepper. Full-bodied and concentrated the textured mouthfeel is plush, finishing long.

Our flagship Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic representation of the appellation’s preeminent varietal. Sourced from several of our premium Napa Valley vineyards to represent both high elevation and valley floor fruit resulting in a beautifully balanced blend. Our 2017 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a densely layered wine showcasing plush notes of cherry cobbler and wild blackberries backed by hints of cedar and fresh herbs. Full-bodied and elegant, this Cabernet has a polished mouthfeel and an exceptionally long finish.
Louis M. Martini Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon V17 750ML

Our 2017 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a boisterous wine with an assertive profile, offering ripe notes of blackcurrant, plum, crushed fennel and cedar. Rich and rustic, this Cabernet features distinct brambly undertones and finishes memorably with structured, lingering tannins.

Since 1933, Louis M. Martini has crafted world-class Cabernet Sauvignon from the exceptional vineyards of Sonoma and Napa counties. Our founder believed in a simple, honest premise: The best grapes make the best wines. Today, the legacy continues with a range of beautifully structured and unforgettable Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Grapes for this wine were sourced predominantly from the North Coast’s renowned Sonoma County and Lake County appellations, where distinct Cabernet Sauvignon thrives. The fertile valleys of Sonoma County, primarily Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley, and the dusty, volcanic soils of Lake County provided ample ripeness and structure in 2017. Attentive and careful tending to the vines allowed us to ensure the grapes ripened evenly and were picked at optimal maturity come harvest. Our 2017 California Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied and intricately layered wine. Vibrant black cherry and rich mocha are primary on the palate, with black currant, pomegranate and vanilla spice rounding out the dense layers. The structure is both supple and round, offering approachability now and a generous, seamless texture with aging.
