Ratti Battaglione Barbera d’Asti DOCG V18 750ML

Intense red color. Fragrance of ripe fruit against a spice background. Full flavored, pleasant and elegant, with good persistence. It’s a rich and structured wine, also suited to medium aging. A wine for first courses and red meats. Renato Ratti founded his winery in 1965 and was the first to map the region of Barolo, paving the way for the commercial idea of terroir in Italy. After Renato’s death in 1988, his son Pietro has carried on his father’s legacy, Ratti's Barbera d'Asti is the winery's most accessible and versatile wine. A cold and rainy spring replenished the water resources in the soil. A warm and sunny summer with significant daily diurnal range gave ideal conditions for fruit development. Harvest occurred in late September.

Ratti Ochetti Langhe Nebbiolo DOC V22 750ML

Fine, delicate and persistent fragrance with trace scents that bring to mind forest strawberries and raspberries. Pleasantly bitter taste, velvety, at once light and full. A juicy and aromatic Nebbiolo from a single vineyard in Roero. The fruit has been purchased from the same handshake contracted grower for 50 years. 100% Nebbiolo from sandy soils. 300m asl. 30 year old vines. Aged for less than a year in neutral Slavonian oak. A wine well suited to red meats on the spit and grilled, game, truffled fondue, agnolotti, Italian gourmet dishes of white and red meats, also with spiced sauces.

Ratti Marcenasco Barolo DOCG V18 750ML

The flagship wine of the estate and a classic, elegant expression of La Morra Barolo. 100% Nebbiolo from three La Morra vineyards. Estate grown. 300-400m asl. 30 year old vines. Aged for 2 years in barrique and large Slavonian cask. Noble and generous, a glory of Old Piedmont, it is a wine suited to very long aging. Barolo is the absolute master of the dining room. It conquers the palate with strength, harmony and fullness and maintains its power at length. Garnet red. Fragrance with notes of licorice and tobacco. Full and elegant flavor. A great wine for important dishes, red meats roasted on a spit or grilled, game, dishes of gourmet white and red meats and ripe cheeses.

Ratti Conca Barolo DOCG V16 750ML

The single-vineyard Conca is Renato Ratti's fullest-bodied Barolo, an exceptional blend of elegance and intensity. Opening with aromas of florals, red fruit and hints of pepper, Conca Barolo shows incredible depth and structure on its weighty palate. Notes of cherry, raspberry, dried orange and pomegranate blend with suggestions of violet, anise and leather, all framed by fine-grained tannins and a lift of acidity. Persistent and fruit-driven on the finish. Conca will to continue to age gracefully for at least 25 years.

Ratti Rocche dell'Annunziata Barolo DOCG V16 750ML

The single-vineyard Rocche dell’Annunziata is Renato Ratti's most elegant, complex and long-lasting Barolo, offering the refined, silky tannins and bright acidity typical of the site. Complex and firmly textured, yet delicate and graceful, Rocche dell’Annunziata unfurls with layered notes of cherry, anise, macerated strawberry, soft leather and crushed raspberries. Subtle hints of vanilla, sage and florals offer an intriguing glimpse of this soulful Barolo. The long, balanced finish is marked by firm tannins. Tremendously age-worthy, this Barolo will age beautifully for more than 25 years.
