Our 2021 Clos du Bois Russian River Sonoma Reserve Chardonnay is a classic and elegant wine. Aromas of white nectarine, spiced pear, and a hint of white flower open in the glass. On the palate, layers of caramel apple and toasted hazelnuts are followed by a balanced, bright mouthfeel. Hints of minerality complements the silky long finish of this wine.

Our 2021 Merlot is a velvety, approachable red wine from California. Layers of black plum and boysenberry meet hints of mocha and toasted oak in this medium-bodied wine. Hints of cherry and vanilla give the wine depth on the palate before leading to a long finish. Viticulture Notes: The fruit for our Merlot originated from sun-drenched vineyards in California’s Central Valley. The 2021 vintage experienced ongoing dry conditions in the state. A mild summer helped increase hangtime, resulting in optimal ripening and an excellent vintage overall. Winemaking Notes: To preserve fruit characteristics and create a soft mouthfeel, we aged our Merlot on oak for 3-4 months.

Our Reserve Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, full-bodied wine from vineyards known for producing exceptional Cabernet. Rich aromas of brambleberry and black plum rise from the glass with underlying notes of shaved dark chocolate. The palate echoes the nose, along with notes of toasted oak and pie spice. A fully ripened tannic structure reveals hints of vanilla and cocoa powder on the long finish. The 2018 growing season in Alexander Valley experienced warm temperatures in February, which led to early budbreak. Fruit set happened without incident and once the typical diurnal temperature shifts returned, the fruit developed fully and achieved optimal ripeness. Overall, harvest 2018 produced excellent quality grapes with optimal flavor concentration and deep color.

Our 2022 Clos du Bois Chardonnay is a fragrant, medium-bodied wine from the rugged coast of California. Aromas of white flower and honeycomb rise from the glass. Layers of baked white peach and pear lead to a rich mouthfeel with a touch of toasted caramel. The wine finishes with lingering lemon zest acidity. Viticulture Notes The fruit for our Chardonnay was grown in select vineyards from up and down the coast of California. Winemaking Notes To preserve the Chardonnay’s fruit characteristics, we harvested the grapes at night in cool air before gently pressing them. The juice was fermented on a combination of French and American oak in stainless steel. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation to soften the acidity and impart a richness and creaminess to the mouthfeel.
