Jermann Pinot Grigio Friuli DOC V22 750ML

Pinot Grigio is a grape particularly at home in northeast Italy. Aromatic, layered and bright, this 100% Pinot Grigio opens with a tropical flourish on the nose and a striking straw yellow color. Full, smooth and very well balanced, notes of green apple, juicy Bartlett pear and fresh-cut citrus fill the palate, with a crisp mineral edge and hints of honey and melon on the long finish.

Argiano Solengo Toscana IGT V18 750ML

This 2018 Argiano Solengo Toscana IGT is a balanced and harmonious Solengo with a nose of spice and berries. It is velvety on the palate with great structure and a long finish. VINIFICATION: Varieties were fermented separately, with about 20 days on the skins. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally in cement tanks. VINTAGE: The 2018 vintage began with a cold winter followed by a mild spring without too much rain. The summer was characterized by heavy rains at the end of June and a very warm August, but the season ended favorably with large diurnal shifts that allowed for optimal maturation.

Estancia Chardonnay V21 750ML

The Estancia 2021 California Chardonnay is sourced from premium vineyards throughout the Central Coast of California. Rich gold in color, this expressive Chardonnay opens with tropical aromas of pineapple and guava highlighted with toasted oak and caramel The palate is layered with hints of green apple and a touch of honey. This is a full-bodied wine with a lingering creaminess. Winemaking Notes We harvested the Chardonnay for the 2021 vintages in the early morning hours and brought the fruit into the winery at peak ripeness. After being destemmed and gently pressed, the juice was transferred to stainless steel tanks for the primary fermentation. Select lots were then chosen and racked off to a combination of French and American oak to undergo malolactic fermentation and aging. In the end, the combination of stainless steel aged lots and oak aged lots were blended to create a lovely Chardonnay that has the perfect balance of fruit and oak.

A focus on geographic diversity has been a principle of ours or many years. Sourcing grapes from across California gives us the flexibility to produce wines when some regions are affected by forces outside of our control. But when the entire state experiences a great vintage, the diversity can sometimes be a problem…a good problem. Extensive tastings of trial blends are difficult when each blend is great for specific reasons. But in the end, we all agreed on the blend in front of you, comprised of fruit from across California — Sonoma Coast, Santa Lucia Highlands, Sta. Rita Hills and many more. WINEMAKER’S NOTES Crisp crimson in the glass, the 2021 Slander opens with notes of wild strawberry, pomegranate, Bing cherry and cedar. Secondary aromatics abound, with hints of redwood grove underbrush, white pepper and earth. Delicate on entry, the palate is flooding with red plum, cherry cola, rhubarb and spices. A touch of cocoa powder on the finish, the wine closes with confident acidity and length.

Our 2021 Nobilo Icon Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc showcases the top selections of the vintage. Aromas of florals and citrus open to an appealing, beautifully layered palate with notes of passionfruit, guava, Meyer lemon curd and ripe mandarin. Subtle hints of fresh-snipped basil, gooseberry and orange blossom add wonderful contrast and complexity. Smooth and supple, this appealing wine offers a long, crisp, palate-refreshing finish. Viticulture Notes Fruit is selected from cool maritime vineyards throughout the Marlborough growing region, creating a vibrant, well-balanced wine with crisp tropical and citrus fruit notes. Vintage 2021 began with cool, occasionally wet conditions that persisted through spring. By summer, warm, sunny days and crisp, cool nights emerged, allowing grapes to develop layered flavors while maintaining region’s signature crisp structure. An early harvest brought bright, mature fruit into the cellar. Winemaking Notes The grapes were harvested at night in cool temperatures to preserve their vibrant fruit characteristics, then destemmed and pressed immediately with minimal skin contact into stainless steel tanks. A long, slow fermentation was carried out over three weeks at cool temperatures using various yeast strains to lend complexity, enhance fruit expression and maintain the classic Marlborough character. Each block was kept separate throughout the winemaking process, allowing different parcels to blend into Nobilo’s signature style.
