Our bright and refreshing 2020 Pinot Grigio offers delightful fresh-picked fruit notes and a crisp, flavorful finish. Opening with delicate aromas of pear and apricot, the smooth, medium-bodied palate brings layered notes of ripe citrus, white peach and soft hints of golden apple. Beautifully balanced and invitingly food-friendly, this Pinot Grigio pairs beautifully with light pastas, poultry and fish, or enjoy on its own as a refreshing aperitif.

An idyllic growing season with beautiful growing conditions offered Pinot Grigio of excellent quality, though smaller in quantity than average. A mild, dry spring was followed by a warm, sunny and evenly paced growing season with few heat spikes or periods of excessive rainfall. In these serene conditions at the heart of Italy’s Pinot Grigio zone, grapes were allowed to reach optimum ripeness while still preserving the fruit’s naturally refreshing structure. Harvest began in late August and lasted into mid-September. Pinot Grigio from the 2020 vintage will be known for its bright, buoyant fruit notes, extraordinary balance and vibrant, crisp acidity.

Our Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio is made primarily from hand-harvested grapes in the high-altitude region of delle Venezie, the heart of Italy’s Pinot Grigio winegrowing. Following harvest in late September and early October, the grapes for this wine were gently crushed and pressed. The juice was allowed to cold settle prior to fermentation in upright stainless steel tanks for three weeks. The wine was left on light lees to preserve freshness and create a crisp, full mouthfeel.
