Orin Swift Mercury Head 750ML 2021

When we decided not to make Mercury Head in 2020, the anticipation for the next release was palpable. In the cellar, we were giddy, ready to assemble a blend worthy of the famed dimes. The 2021 vintage was fortuitous in both yield and quality, giving us a lot of components to make trial blends with. We’re very excited to bring back Mercury Head as 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from both the Stagecoach and Warnock Vineyards on Atlas Peak, the Morisoli Vineyard in Rutherford and the Taplin Vineyard in St. Helena. WINEMAKER’S NOTES An almost-black, opaque garnet core sit s in the glass with slow-moving tears falling down the sides. Immediate aromatic notes of ripe cassis, charred ribeye, sandalwood and freshly cut oak pilfer—breathe deeper for more. The first sip is a complex, layered conundrum of blackberry, black plum, fennel, licorice and dark chocolate. More sips peel back the layers to reveal a rich and balanced wine with a deep cassis core. A sweet linger on the finish closes the wine with softly textured chalky tannins.

At Edna Valley Vineyard, we craft balanced and elegant expressions of California. Our Pinot Grigio offers notes of pear, citrus and honeysuckle on the nose. Delightful flavors of Fuji apple and ripe pear combine with a crisp, refreshing acidity. Subtle hints of crushed seashell and chalky limestone minerality make this wine truly memorable

La Marca Prosecco 750ML

Our delicate La Marca Prosecco has a pale, golden straw color and sparkles with lively effervescence. Opening with aromas of fresh-picked citrus and honeysuckle blossoms, the crisp, clean palate brings fruity notes of green apple, juicy peach and ripe lemon, framed by hints of minerality. The finish is light and refreshing with a tantalizing hint of sweetness. Winemaking Notes: The grapes for La Marca Prosecco were selected with great care from small vineyards throughout the Prosecco DOC. After harvest, the grapes were crushed and then pressed in gentle membrane presses. The juice was allowed to cold settle before initial fermentation in upright stainless steel tanks at a maximum temperature of 65°F. The still wine was aged on its lees prior to secondary fermentation. Recommended Cuisine: La Marca Prosecco has the charm to stand alone as an aperitif, but it also has the body and the acidity to pair well with a range of foods, from seafood and mild cheeses to rich pasta dishes and decadent desserts. La Marca adds sparkle to bubbly brunch bites, like classic eggs benedict, chorizo chilaquiles or chicken and waffles. For a crisp and vibrant dinner party, pair Prosecco alongside fresh-caught crab or fish tacos with endive slaw, goat cheese flatbread pizza or roasted chicken with creamy lemon La Marca sauce.

Frei Brothers Russian River Valley Pinot Noir V22 750ML

Our Frei Brothers Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a medium-bodied, fruit-forward expression of the Russian River Valley. Aromas of orange peel, spiced fig and bergamot rise from the glass. Layers of dark cherry, black plum and pomegranate notes are underscored by tones of mocha and toasted oak. Mild tannins balance hints of crushed lavender and dried dark cherry that persist through the long finish.

Dark Horse Pinot Noir V22 750ML

The 2022 Dark Horse Pinot Noir is a smooth, medium-bodied wine from California. Notes of Bing cherry and raspberry meet aromas of shaved cedar in this bright wine. A polished mouthfeel leads to a lingering finish with a touch of strawberry. Viticulture Notes The 2022 growing season was warmer than normal with average crop yields. Increasing temperatures hastened harvest during August, which produced smaller yields of highly concentrated berries. Winemaking Notes We harvested the grapes for this wine during the cool evening hours. Grapes were then brought to the winery, destemmed, and gently crushed before being fermented at temperatures of between 88°-92°F. This warmer fermentation served to further concentrate flavors and extract intense color from the skins. The wine was aged on oak post fermentation to add complexity and balance.

Orin Swift Slander 750ML 2022

A focus on geographic diversity has been a principle of ours or many years. Sourcing grapes from across California gives us the flexibility to produce wines when some regions are affected by forces outside of our control. But when the entire state experiences a great vintage, the diversity can sometimes be a problem…a good problem. Extensive tastings of trial blends are difficult when each blend is great for specific reasons. But in the end, we all agreed on the blend in front of you, comprised of fruit from across California — Sonoma Coast, Santa Lucia Highlands, Sta. Rita Hills and many more. WINEMAKER’S NOTES Crisp crimson in the glass, the 2021 Slander opens with notes of wild strawberry, pomegranate, Bing cherry and cedar. Secondary aromatics abound, with hints of redwood grove underbrush, white pepper and earth. Delicate on entry, the palate is flooding with red plum, cherry cola, rhubarb and spices. A touch of cocoa powder on the finish, the wine closes with confident acidity and length.

Our 2022 Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon is a big, full-bodied wine brimming with aromas of blackberry pie. The mouthfeel is round with layers of wild brambleberry accented with notes of toasted oak and caramel. Structured tannins deliver subtle hints of warm spice and dried herbs on the finish.

Orin Swift Palermo 750ML 2021

Poured as a dark garnet, the wine opens with primary aromas of ripe cassis and blackberry. Supporting hints of dark chocolate, toasted oak and cedar support the typical Orin Swift Cabernet Sauvignon nose. The entry is flooding with notes of dark fruits and a mid-palate bolstered with redcurrant, bay leaf and a reemergence of cassis. The wine closes with well-developed tannins and a striking minerality despite the supple and soft finish.

Whitehaven Windward Sauvignon Blanc V22 750ML

Our top expression of Sauvignon Blanc, Windward delivers wonderful aromatic intensity, a generous, layered taste profile and classic Marlborough style. Aromas of white peach, kiwi and lemongrass carry through to the silky palate, blending seamlessly with hints of passion fruit, citrus and crushed fresh green herbs. An attractive mineral backbone and suggestions of sea spray add appealing texture, finishing long and bright. This memorable, food-friendly Sauvignon Blanc can be paired with creamy cheeses, green salads, fresh seafood or grilled chicken. VITICULTURE NOTES Grown in four exclusive vineyard sites across Marlborough, 55% from three sub-regions within the Wairau Valley (22% Renwick, 22% Spring Creek, 11% Lower Wairau) and 45% from two separate blocks of a single vineyard in Awatere Valley. The 2022 growing season was cool and long, offering optimal conditions for ripening while preserving excellent acidity. A wet winter gave soils ample water resources for the season ahead. Spring arrived with ideal conditions, giving us wonderful fruit set and healthy yields. Summer was dry and lengthy, allowing fruit to hang on the vines while ripening slowly. Grapes were harvested later than usual, delivering fruit with flavor maturity and concentration while retaining pure fruit expression. WINEMAKING NOTES Windward Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of our five best lots of Sauvignon Blanc from the 2022 vintage. Both in the vineyards and in our cellar, these standout blocks stood out above the rest for their aromatic intensity, layered flavor development and incredible structure. Sauvignon Blanc grapes were harvested in cool conditions, then pressed immediately with minimal skin contact. After cold settling, the clear juice was fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks at very low temperatures with selected yeast strains to preserve inherent varietal characteristics and classic Marlborough flavors. These lots sat on light yeast lees in tank for up to six weeks prior to blending

William Hill Sauvignon Blanc V23 750ML

Our crisp, bright and refreshing and California Sauvignon Blanc opens with generous aromas of green apple, tropical fruit and citrus. These are carried through to the palate, complemented by layered notes of ripe pear, fresh-cut lime, ripe melon and pineapple. A touch of weight on the palate adds to the depth of flavor, while the crisp acidity drives a long, fruit-forward finish. This wine is unoaked and does not go through malolactic fermentation, giving this a vibrant, fruit-driven taste profile.

Our 2022 Clos du Bois Pinot Noir is an elegant red wine with a silky mouthfeel from California. Orin Swift Machete 750ML 2021

Black ink that coats the glass and transforms it into an altered state , the 2021 Machete opens with decadent aromas of blue and black fruits, charred meat, a hint of funk and troves of minerality. The entry is more dense than expected with notes of black plum, other stone fruits and essence of game but yet tempered and balanced by candied orange peel and leveled acidity . Typical tannins for this Petite Sirah-based wine, the wine closes with voluptuous texture and intensity.

J Vineyards Russian River Valley Chardonnay V22 750ML

Our smooth and inviting Russian River Valley Chardonnay showcases the best of this classic cool-climate region. Appealing aromas of florals and citrus open at first pour, while the layered, flavorful palate adds notes of white peach, pear, pineapple and fresh-cut Meyer lemon. Subtle accents of toasted hazelnut, vanilla and gingersnap add rich complexity and depth, a hallmark of the wine’s French oak aging. Try this beautifully balanced, food-friendly Chardonnay with wild mushroom pasta in a light cream sauce or Dungeness crab cake in a candied ginger hollandaise, topped with fresh green herbs. A versatile wine for cheese pairings, enjoy this with any mild or alpine style cheese alongside apples or peaches.

J California Cuvée 750ML

The vibrant and approachable California Cuvée opens with a pop of tart pineapple and orange blossom on the wonderfully aromatic nose. The palate is lively and rich with layered notes of Asian pear and honeysuckle, overlaying hints of fresh mandarin peel and marzipan before a crisp, focused finish.

William Hill Central Coast Chardonnay V20 750ML

Distinctly fruit forward on the nose and palate, the William Hill Central Coast Chardonnay is a beautiful summer wine. The nose gives you aromas of stone fruit, Granny Smith apples and a hint of lemon zest. On the palate you will be treated to layers of nectarine, green apple, citrus with hints of caramel, vanilla and a delicate edge of orange blossom. This is an elegant expression of Chardonnay with a creamy mouthfeel and long honey-tinged finish. VITICULTURE NOTES: Our 2020 Central Coast Chardonnay is sourced primarily from San Luis Obispo and Monterey Counties. The 2020 harvest experienced ongoing drought conditions throughout the state of California which caused a slight reduction in crop size. Both San Luis Obispo and Monterey are known for warm sunny days and cool evening weather patterns. These idyllic conditions allow the Chardonnay to ripen slowly and evenly. The resulting fruit is fully developed with beautifully concentrated of flavors and seasoned tannins. WINEMAKER NOTES: The grapes for our Central Coast Chardonnay were whole-cluster pressed. The juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks to ensure a slow, even and clean process. This Chardonnay underwent malolactic fermentation while being aged on its lees and stirred weekly to build texture and a creamy mouthfeel. After individual evaluations of each lot, the final blend was assembled to create a rich and beautifully balanced Chardonnay.

Orin Swift Mannequin 750ML 2021

The most widely planted white wine grape in California, Chardonnay is expressed in many different styles due to the state’s varied regions. Microclimates and unique soil types allow us to source Chardonnay that tell us about place, helping us achieve our goal of showing what California has to offer. Before everything is blended, each lot expresses where it comes from—some are acid-forward and mineral-focused, while others are robust, ripe and fruit-forward. But through blending trials, we’re able to bring them together and form a piece of liquid art. Sourced from the Russian River Valley, Atlas Peak, Santa Maria Valley and other prestigious AVAs across the state, Mannequin is our manifestation of California Chardonnay. WINEMAKER’S NOTES A blinding white gold and a chartreuse shimmer in the glass, the 2021 Mannequin opens with opulent, beguiling aromatics. Ripe golden apple, concentrated jasmine, citrus notes and a touch of cream and fresh brioche emerge. The entry is bright yet with a bit of weight; similar aromatic notes come through on the palate supplemented by rich honeydew and green apple. Tempered by a prominent vein of acidity, the wine closes at length with a seamless silk-like quality, finishing with pleasing minerality

Frei Brothers Sonoma Reserve Sauvignon Blanc V23 750ML

This Russion River Valley Sauvignon Blanc is an incredible reflection of the misty, cool vineyards where it is grown. Classic notes of lemongrass, minerality and crisp acidity are given complexity and depth by rich flavors of tropical fruit, citrus and peach. Subtle notes of vanilla and caramel linger on the lengthy finish.
