Our 2018 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel is rich and expansive, opening with intense aromas of freshly-cracked black pepper and undertones of clove and allspice. On the palate, fruit-forward notes of baked boysenberry and cassis are framed with notes of brambly dried fruits, cocoa dust and peppered jerky. This wine’s soft edges and extraordinarily long finish are complemented by hints of graphite, bay leaves and vanilla.

Medium garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Zinfandel comes charging out of the glass with big, bold blackberry pie and raspberry preserves notes, followed by hints of raisin cake, prunes, Chinese five spice and hoisin plus a touch of potpourri. Full-bodied, the palate is jam-packed with red and black fruit preserves layers and loads of spicy sparks, framed by soft tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and savory. 631 cases were made.
