About the Wine
Estancia 2019 Chardonnay is a silky, well-balanced white wine from Monterey County, California. Golden straw in color, our Chardonnay shines with bright forward fruit notes of green apple, pineapple and almond. Aromas of orange blossom, tropical fruit and honey greet you from the glass. The mouthfeel is rich with hints of oak-spice on the back palate and a long, smooth finish.

Winemaking Notes
The grapes for the 2019 vintage were harvested in the cool misty morning hours in the Central Coast, where warm sunny days and cool foggy evenings create ideal conditions for Chardonnay. They were immediately destemmed and gently pressed to preserve the fresh fruit flavor characteristics. All of the lots went through primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Select lots were racked into a combination of French and American oak barrels to age and undergo malolactic fermentation. The blend of both aging methods creates a smooth Chardonnay that retains its natural acidity.
