Our 2020 Weinbau Vineyard Merlot captures the complexity the Wahluke Slope is famous for producing. The nose is an intriguing mix of wild berry with Kalamata olive brine. This wine offers firm tannins that give the mouthfeel a big, round presence and oak aging that imparts a taut structure. Pronounced notes of blackberry, black plum and wild blueberry give our Merlot a big fruit presence. The finish is long and decadent with a layer of toasted oak and caramelized sugar. <br><br> <b>About Weinbau Vineyard</b><br> The grapes for our Merlot were harvested from wonderful old vines in blocks 54, 193 and 194 of Weinbau Vineyard, a legendary vineyard located on Washington’s Wahluke Slope. Known for its dry warm climate, Wahluke Slope allows winemaking nearly complete control of irrigation and ripening. Mineral-rich, volcanic silty loess soil provides excellent drainage and imparts complexity to the wine.

Luscious and silky, Storypoint Chardonnay amplifies the fruit-forward expression of the variety, sourced from some of California’s premium cool climate vineyards. The aroma opens with hints of ripe apple and honeysuckle while notes of white peach, Asian pear and ginger deliver a deliciously refreshing taste. With accents of vanilla and caramel, each glass is rich on the palate.

Effusive aromas of blackberry pie, cassis, and leather greet the nose, foretelling the full, expressive palate. Intense notes of blackberry and plum interweave with flecks of pink peppercorn and plowed earth, amplified by a lift of fresh acidity. Rich and full-bodied, our 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is well-structured with layers of complexity and approachable tannins. Brimming with ripe, dark fruit characteristics, our Cabernet reveals rich layers of blackberry and black currant layer finished with hints of toasty oak, vanilla and cocoa. J Cuvée 20 Brut opens with nuanced aromas of fresh sourdough bread, green apple, tangerine and almond. A dance of bubbles leads to a focused palate that delicately balances sweet and tart notes of raspberry, cherry, wild strawberry and lemon rind, whisked away by a crisp and lively finish. Pair this versatile sparkler with Asian shrimp dumplings with yuzu glaze or Stilton cheese with toasted hazelnuts.

Poured as a dark garnet, the wine opens with primary aromas of ripe cassis and blackberry. Supporting hints of dark chocolate, toasted oak and cedar support the typical Orin Swift Cabernet Sauvignon nose. The entry is flooding with notes of dark fruits and a mid-palate bolstered with redcurrant, bay leaf and a reemergence of cassis. The most widely planted white wine grape in California, Chardonnay is expressed in many different styles due to the state’s varied regions. Microclimates and unique soil types allow us to source Chardonnay that tell us about place, helping us achieve our goal of showing what California has to offer. Before everything is blended, each lot expresses where it comes from—some are acid-forward and mineral-focused, while others are robust, ripe and fruit-forward. But through blending trials, we’re able to bring them together and form a piece of liquid art. Sourced from the Russian River Valley, Atlas Peak, Santa Maria Valley and other prestigious AVAs across the state, Mannequin is our manifestation of California Chardonnay. <br><br> <b>WINEMAKER’S NOTES</b><br> A blinding white gold and a chartreuse shimmer in the glass, the 2021 Mannequin opens with opulent, beguiling aromatics. Ripe golden apple, concentrated jasmine, citrus notes and a touch of cream and fresh brioche emerge. The entry is bright yet with a bit of weight; similar aromatic notes come through on the palate supplemented by rich honeydew and green apple. Tempered by a prominent vein of acidity, the wine closes at length with a seamless silk-like quality, finishing with pleasing minerality

Our 2021 Clos du Bois Russian River Sonoma Reserve Chardonnay is a classic and elegant wine. Aromas of white nectarine, spiced pear, and a hint of white flower open in the glass. On the palate, layers of caramel apple and toasted hazelnuts are followed by a balanced, bright mouthfeel. Hints of minerality complements the silky long finish of this wine.

Our 2021 Merlot is a velvety, approachable red wine from California. Layers of black plum and boysenberry meet hints of mocha and toasted oak in this medium-bodied wine. Hints of cherry and vanilla give the wine depth on the palate before leading to a long finish. <br><br> <b>Viticulture Notes:</b><br> The fruit for our Merlot originated from sun-drenched vineyards in California’s Central Valley. The 2021 vintage experienced ongoing dry conditions in the state. A mild summer helped increase hangtime, resulting in optimal ripening and an excellent vintage overall. <br><br> <b>Winemaking Notes:</b><br> To preserve fruit characteristics and create a soft mouthfeel, we aged our Merlot on oak for 3-4 months.

Our 2021 Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon is a big, full-bodied wine brimming with aromas of blackberry pie. The mouthfeel is round with layers of wild brambleberry accented with notes of toasted oak and caramel. Structured tannins deliver subtle hints of warm spice and dried herbs on the finish.

Our rich, full bodied 2019 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a savory and darkly fruited expression of our William Hill Estate vineyard. The wine opens with bold notes of wild blackberry bush, plum, mission fig and black cherry reduction, mingling with earthy hints of leather, aniseed, cracked pepper, cinnamon, and clove. The texture of the wine is supported by fine tannins and balanced acidity that help frame the dense, velvety-smooth finish. Our William Hill Estate California Pinot Noir is well-balanced and opens with delightful aromas of fresh red fruit with hints of oak and baking spice. On the palate, supple layers of dark cherry and black currant play against bright acidity, a plush mouthfeel and a long, smooth finish.

Black ink that coats the glass and transforms it into an altered state , the 2021 Machete opens with decadent aromas of blue and black fruits, charred meat, a hint of funk and troves of minerality. Our Frei Brothers Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a medium-bodied, fruit-forward expression of the Russian River Valley. Aromas of orange peel, spiced fig and bergamot rise from the glass. Layers of dark cherry, black plum and pomegranate notes are underscored by tones of mocha and toasted oak. Mild tannins balance hints of crushed lavender and dried dark cherry that persist through the long finish.

Our 2022 California Pinot Gris is delightfully aromatic, approachable and bright. Generous aromas of jasmine and honeysuckle offer a fragrant, floral introduction, while the crisp and inviting palate is highlighted by layered hints of white peach, pear, kiwifruit and lime zest. You won’t be disappointed. <br><br> <b>About the Wine</b><br> Our 2022 Apothic Rosé offers the lightness of rose petals with the boldness of sun-ripened red fruit notes. Aromas of wild strawberry, watermelon and white peach hint open in the glass before revealing layers of strawberry, cherry and red plum. The floral and citrus notes linger, leading to a deliciously smooth mouthfeel with a refreshingly clean finish and a dollop of honey. <br><br> <b>Viticulture Notes</b><br> The 2022 growing season was very similar to the previous vintage, with a dry winter and spring. Summer heat accelerated sugar accumulation in white grape varieties and led to an early harvest. The grapes for white wine came in with ideal acidity and concentrated flavor characteristics. <br><br> <b>Winemaking Notes</b><br> We predominantly harvest the grapes for this blend at night. This allows us to preserve both bright fruit components and helps to limit color extraction. The grapes were given a gentle whole-cluster pressing and fermented at cool temperatures to preserve the delicate flavors and aromas. To help develop that lovely soft mouthfeel, a small portion of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation. The wine was kept cool until blending to maintain a perfect balance of acid and fruit.

Our 2022 Clos du Bois Chardonnay is a fragrant, medium-bodied wine from the rugged coast of California. Aromas of white flower and honeycomb rise from the glass. Layers of baked white peach and pear lead to a rich mouthfeel with a touch of toasted caramel. The wine finishes with lingering lemon zest acidity. <br><br> <b>Viticulture Notes</b><br> The fruit for our Chardonnay was grown in select vineyards from up and down the coast of California. <br><br> <b>Winemaking Notes</b><br> To preserve the Chardonnay’s fruit characteristics, we harvested the grapes at night in cool air before gently pressing them. The juice was fermented on a combination of French and American oak in stainless steel. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation to soften the acidity and impart a richness and creaminess to the mouthfeel.

Zinfandel holds a very special place in our hearts; it is one of California's signature grapes, easily associated with the state. Suited to the warm growing regions across the west coast, we focus on finding great vineyards that produce Zinfandel to our liking. There's a perfect window when picking Zin-pick it too early and you end up with a thin, "green" wine; pick it too late and you risk a stuck fermentation; pick it just right...well, that's our goal. Sourced from vineyards of pedigree, such as Stefani, Barrelli and Monte Rosso, the sixth iteration exudes the ethos of Eight Years in the Desert: a heart and body of Zinfandel with added nuance and complexity from Petite Sirah and Syrah-the quintessential California Red Wine. <br><br> <b>WINEMAKER'S NOTES</b><br> At first glance, the 2022 Eight Years in the Desert looks to be almost black, but after closer inspection, a dark crimson starts to shine through with a tinge of purple on the rim. The nose is rife with notes of ripe blueberry, black plum, wild raspberry, espresso bean, sweet oak and a hint of crème de menthe and cedar. The entry is akin to walking through a tunnel of velvet walls with blackberry jam, reduced strawberry and a touch of rhubarb. Bright acidity throughout the palate, the wine closes with round, ripe tannins, fresh pluot and dark chocolate.

The William Hill Estate Winery 2021 Napa Valley Chardonnay is an elegant expression of California's acclaimed winegrowing region. Aromas of toasted caramel and warm brioche radiate from the glass.
