Jermann’s release of his flagship wine, ‘Vintage Tunina’, a field blend of native and international varietals, remains a watershed moment for Italian wine. Estate grown. Single vineyard. 30 year old vines. 25% of the blend is aged in large oak cask for 11 months.

Our Origin Series Sauvignon Blanc is sourced entirely from the unique Dillons Point area of Marlborough, giving the wine its focused, fruit-driven flavor profile and hints of minerality. The crisp personality of Origin Series greets you with generous aromas of passion fruit and guava. These exotic tropical fruit characters come through on the rich palate, mingling with notes of grapefruit, lemon and peach layered with herbaceous notes of fresh-cut grass. Refreshingly crisp on the finish, with a lingering sense of sea spray and minerality. <br><br> The 2021 vintage is being celebrated as exceptional though yields were down significantly (down 19% across New Zealand) due to some late-season frosts and overall cooler weather in the spring.

When we decided not to make Mercury Head in 2020, the anticipation for the next release was palpable. In the cellar, we were giddy, ready to assemble a blend worthy of the famed dimes. The 2021 vintage was fortuitous in both yield and quality, giving us a lot of components to make trial blends with. We’re very excited to bring back Mercury Head as 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from both the Stagecoach and Warnock Vineyards on Atlas Peak, the Morisoli Vineyard in Rutherford and the Taplin Vineyard in St. Helena. <br><br> <b>WINEMAKER’S NOTES</b><br> An almost-black, opaque garnet core sit s in the glass with slow-moving tears falling down the sides. Immediate aromatic notes of ripe cassis, charred ribeye, sandalwood and freshly cut oak pilfer—breathe deeper for more. The first sip is a complex, layered conundrum of blackberry, black plum, fennel, licorice and dark chocolate. More sips peel back the layers to reveal a rich and balanced wine with a deep cassis core. A sweet linger on the finish closes the wine with softly textured chalky tannins.

At Edna Valley Vineyard, we craft balanced and elegant expressions of California. Our Pinot Grigio offers notes of pear, citrus and honeysuckle on the nose. Our Frei Brothers Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a medium-bodied, fruit-forward expression of the Russian River Valley. Aromas of orange peel, spiced fig and bergamot rise from the glass. Layers of dark cherry, black plum and pomegranate notes are underscored by tones of mocha and toasted oak. Mild tannins balance hints of crushed lavender and dried dark cherry that persist through the long finish.

Generous aromas of pear and green apple are accompanied by hints of lemon blossom. The refreshingly juicy palate bursts with flavors of luscious tropical fruit, pear and citrus, finishing with lively acidity.<br><br> This Pinot Gris hails from vineyards in Monterey County, where cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean slow down ripening and extend hang times. These conditions produce vibrant flavor and highlight the varietal’s brisk acidity. Once harvested, the grapes for this wine were fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The cool fermentation preserved the variety’s delicate floral and stone fruit aromas, resulting in a bright, refreshing finish

Our 2022 Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon is a big, full-bodied wine brimming with aromas of blackberry pie. The mouthfeel is round with layers of wild brambleberry accented with notes of toasted oak and caramel. Structured tannins deliver subtle hints of warm spice and dried herbs on the finish.

Poured as a dark garnet, the wine opens with primary aromas of ripe cassis and blackberry. Supporting hints of dark chocolate, toasted oak and cedar support the typical Orin Swift Cabernet Sauvignon nose. The entry is flooding with notes of dark fruits and a mid-palate bolstered with redcurrant, bay leaf and a reemergence of cassis. The wine closes with well-developed tannins and a striking minerality despite the supple and soft finish.

Our Ecco Domani delle Venezie DOC Pinot Grigio is made primarily from hand-harvested grapes grown in the high-altitude region of delle Venezie area. This signature wine has a straw yellow color with light green and gold flecks. On the palate, it is a complex wine that offers delicate floral and tropical fruit notes of pineapple, passion fruit and mango. On the finish, an intense aroma of Williams pear complements the bright acidity. With its food-friendly and approachable style, our Pinot Grigio pairs beautifully with light pastas, poultry and fish and can also be enjoyed as a refreshing “after-work” aperitif

Our top expression of Sauvignon Blanc, Windward delivers wonderful aromatic intensity, a generous, layered taste profile and classic Marlborough style. Aromas of white peach, kiwi and lemongrass carry through to the silky palate, blending seamlessly with hints of passion fruit, citrus and crushed fresh green herbs. An attractive mineral backbone and suggestions of sea spray add appealing texture, finishing long and bright. This memorable, food-friendly Sauvignon Blanc can be paired with creamy cheeses, green salads, fresh seafood or grilled chicken. <br><br> <b>VITICULTURE NOTES</b><br> Grown in four exclusive vineyard sites across Marlborough, 55% from three sub-regions within the Wairau Valley (22% Renwick, 22% Spring Creek, 11% Lower Wairau) and 45% from two separate blocks of a single vineyard in Awatere Valley. <br><br> The 2022 growing season was cool and long, offering optimal conditions for ripening while preserving excellent acidity. A wet winter gave soils ample water resources for the season ahead. Spring arrived with ideal conditions, giving us wonderful fruit set and healthy yields. Summer was dry and lengthy, allowing fruit to hang on the vines while ripening slowly. Grapes were harvested later than usual, delivering fruit with flavor maturity and concentration while retaining pure fruit expression. <br><br> <b>WINEMAKING NOTES</b><br> Windward Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of our five best lots of Sauvignon Blanc from the 2022 vintage. Both in the vineyards and in our cellar, these standout blocks stood out above the rest for their aromatic intensity, layered flavor development and incredible structure. Sauvignon Blanc grapes were harvested in cool conditions, then pressed immediately with minimal skin contact. After cold settling, the clear juice was fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks at very low temperatures with selected yeast strains to preserve inherent varietal characteristics and classic Marlborough flavors. These lots sat on light yeast lees in tank for up to six weeks prior to blending

The 2022 Kali Hart Pinot Noir is a most fruit-forward expression of California's Central Coast. Notes of crushed blackberry and cherry meld with warm notes of caramelized vanilla and clove. The mouthfeel is silky with hints of wild strawberry and a touch of dried lavender. This wine finishes smooth with a touch of minerality.

Tornatore Etna Rosso is ruby red with faint purple color, a typical trait of the Nerello Mascalese variety, which is not known for rich color. The wine has notes of macerated strawberries and raspberries, morello cherries and black plum, which blend with subtle hints of herbs and earth. Surprisingly full in structure, fine tannins and bright acidity give the wine richness, complexity and persistence.

Our 2023 Starborough Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is generous, balanced and bright. Aromas of lime zest, ripe peach and white florals unveil with every swirl. Crisp and smooth on the palate, appealing notes of tropical passionfruit, guava and kiwi blend with subtle suggestions of fresh-cut green herbs and lemongrass. The long finish is marked by palate-refreshing hints of citrusy grapefruit and Meyer lemon. Enjoy alongside creamy goat cheese, prosciutto-wrapped melon or grilled chicken.

The vibrant and approachable California Cuvée opens with a pop of tart pineapple and orange blossom on the wonderfully aromatic nose. The palate is lively and rich with layered notes of Asian pear and honeysuckle, overlaying hints of fresh mandarin peel and marzipan before a crisp, focused finish.

Our smooth and inviting Russian River Valley Chardonnay showcases the best of this classic cool-climate region. Appealing aromas of florals and citrus open at first pour, while the layered, flavorful palate adds notes of white peach, pear, pineapple and fresh-cut Meyer lemon. Subtle accents of toasted hazelnut, vanilla and gingersnap add rich complexity and depth, a hallmark of the wine’s French oak aging. Pinot Grigio is a grape particularly at home in northeast Italy. Aromatic, layered and bright, this 100% Pinot Grigio opens with a tropical flourish on the nose and a striking straw yellow color. Full, smooth and very well balanced, notes of green apple, juicy Bartlett pear and fresh-cut citrus fill the palate, with a crisp mineral edge and hints of honey and melon on the long finish.

Fresh, bright and crisp, this pale lemon-rind-colored Sauvignon Blanc features lively flavors of grapefruit, citrus and crisp pear with subtle freshcut-hay notes and vivid acidity. The finish lingers with minerality, hints of green apple, lemongrass and a touch of jalapeño. <br><br> This Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from vineyards in the Central Coast, where consistently warm sunny days are followed by cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean at night. While below average winter rainfall led to some light early spring irrigation, the 2022 growing season continued with favorable warm weather that aided canopy growth and even berry set. Steady temperatures ensured fruit was maturing slowly allowing for gradual ripening and extended hang times. A small heat spike in late September slightly sped up the harvest but fruit still came in with beautiful acidity. <br><br> Harvested from certified sustainable vineyards, the fruit was hand-picked in the early morning, brought to the winery and destemmed. The wine was cold fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the beautiful natural acidity of the grapes.

Distinctly fruit forward on the nose and palate, the William Hill Central Coast Chardonnay is a beautiful summer wine. The nose gives you aromas of stone fruit, Granny Smith apples and a hint of lemon zest. On the palate you will be treated to layers of nectarine, green apple, citrus with hints of caramel, vanilla and a delicate edge of orange blossom. This is an elegant expression of Chardonnay with a creamy mouthfeel and long honey-tinged finish. <br><br> <b>VITICULTURE NOTES:</b><br> Our 2020 Central Coast Chardonnay is sourced primarily from San Luis Obispo and Monterey Counties. The 2020 harvest experienced ongoing drought conditions throughout the state of California which caused a slight reduction in crop size. Both San Luis Obispo and Monterey are known for warm sunny days and cool evening weather patterns. These idyllic conditions allow the Chardonnay to ripen slowly and evenly. The resulting fruit is fully developed with beautifully concentrated of flavors and seasoned tannins. <br><br> <b>WINEMAKER NOTES:</b><br> The grapes for our Central Coast Chardonnay were whole-cluster pressed. The juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks to ensure a slow, even and clean process. This Chardonnay underwent malolactic fermentation while being aged on its lees and stirred weekly to build texture and a creamy mouthfeel. After individual evaluations of each lot, the final blend was assembled to create a rich and beautifully balanced Chardonnay.

Lively aromas of lemon citrus, pineapple and orange blossom with hints of tropical fruit, caramelized honey and toasty vanilla. On the palate, this wine has an refined texture with a silky, smooth mouthfeel and medium acidity. Notes of Meyer lemon, golden apple and fresh cut pear, combined with delicate notes of toasty oak and creamy minerality, lead to an elegant long finish. <br><br> The winter rainfall was slightly below average, but we were able to compensate with early spring irrigation to fill soil profiles before budbreak. Warm spring temperatures aided vine growth and they were able to reach max canopy height. Summer temperatures heated up and slowed down vine growth as vines transitioned into fruit development. Weather leading into harvest was relatively cool and uneventful, which allowed for gradual ripening of the fruit. It was another remarkable growing season in the Santa Lucia Highlands, resulting in wines with beautiful color, concentrated flavors, great structure and naturally balanced acidity. <br><br> After being carefully picked and precisely sorted for quality, the fruit was destemmed, sent direct to press and fermented entirely in small French oak barrels. The wine was hand-stirred on its lees every three weeks for the 10 months it aged in barrel. When the wine was ready to be blended, our winemaker selected only the finest barrels that best express the aromas and flavors of the Santa Lucia Highlands

This Russion River Valley Sauvignon Blanc is an incredible reflection of the misty, cool vineyards where it is grown. Classic notes of lemongrass, minerality and crisp acidity are given complexity and depth by rich flavors of tropical fruit, citrus and peach. Subtle notes of vanilla and caramel linger on the lengthy finish.

Our 2022 Chateau Souverain Merlot is elegantly layered with notes of blueberry and plum, complemented by hints of mocha, baking chocolate, and oak for a long, plush finish

TRE stands for its three grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon as well as for its three Tuscan vineyards (Maremma, Castellina and Radda in Chianti). The assemblage is dominated by Sangiovese with 70 percent, but Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon also bring their charm with 15% each. This well-structured, medium-bodied wine is aged for twelve months before it is bottled. Two thirds of the expansion takes place in French tonneaux and one in cement. This elegant, well-structured cuvée offers plenty of drinking pleasure now or later and goes well with every kitchen. “There is no better entry-level wine than this,” says Monica Larner (for Robert Parker) with reference to the TRE 2014. And James Suckling states: “Really delicious, really juicy, with wonderful aromas of red fruits.” <br><br> Ideal with: pasta and rice dishes, light roasted or sautéed meat, poultry, fried or grilled fish. Our favorite: with Vitello Tonnato with fresh capers.

Intense red color. Fragrance of ripe fruit against a spice background. Full flavored, pleasant and elegant, with good persistence. It’s a rich and structured wine, also suited to medium aging. A wine for first courses and red meats. <br><br>Renato Ratti founded his winery in 1965 and was the first to map the region of Barolo, paving the way for the commercial idea of terroir in Italy. After Renato’s death in 1988, his son Pietro has carried on his father’s legacy, Ratti's Barbera d'Asti is the winery's most accessible and versatile wine. A cold and rainy spring replenished the water resources in the soil. A warm and sunny summer with significant daily diurnal range gave ideal conditions for fruit development. Harvest occurred in late September.
