About Hogue Cellars
The Hogue family has been a fixture in the Washington State farming community since the 1940s. Settling in Prosser, Washington, the future heart of the state’s prosperous wine industry, Mike and Gary Hogue grew up working the hops fields and apple orchards of the Columbia Valley.
In 1982, Mike and Gary established The Hogue Cellars, Washington’s 19th bonded winery (there are now close to 1,000). The following year, The Hogue Cellars winery and tasting room took over a vacant building in Prosser, WA. Inspired by his parents’ entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic, The Hogue Cellars has emerged as one of Washington’s most respected wineries.
