    Plan a Beautiful Thanksgiving

It's that time of year again, where we can indulge in all our favorite foods and spend quality time with our loved ones. And to make your Thanksgiving ultra special, we have easy steps to follow to plan the perfect menu, complemented by delicious wines and added in some quick tips for getting ready for the big day.

    Step #1: Get the wine

Order any mix-and-match shipment of 6 or more bottles featured here, pay just $20 flat shipping*, plus receive 15% off the wine! Simply enter promo code TURKEY to take advantage.

Once you receive you wine, make sure to give it some time to rest before opening by following these simple steps.

    1. Allow your wine to lay on its side in a cool, dark place for a few days.
    2. At least one hour before serving, remove the wine from your cellar and stand the bottle upright.
    3. The next thing to consider is the temperature of the wine - red wine should be served at room temperature or 65°F and white and rosé wines should be served at 52°F. Sparkling wines should be served at 40°F to 45°F. If you're short on time and need to chill your white, rosé, or sparkling wine - simply submerge the bottle into a bucket of ice and water. This should get your wine down to the ideal temperature in about 15 minutes.

    Step #2: Plan your menu

Try a new recipe this year and add a new tradition to your family's table. Here are a few of our favorites:

Step #3: Decide on your decor

You have the wine, you've planned the menu, now it is time to think about the table. With a little planning, you can beautifully decorate your table without breaking the bank. Allow your creative side to come out, here are a few questions to jump start your planning:

    • Will you be serving buffet style or as a sit-down dinner?
    • Do you want a centerpiece? If you're going to add flowers to your table, purchase those just one or two days before.
    • Are you going to assign seats? If so, personalize each person's seat at the table.
    • Don't forget the music! Put together your play list now or ask one of the music lovers in your life to bring one.
    • Having a tough time coming up with those creative touches? Here is where the internet is your friend!

    Step #4: Relax

As you prepare for your home to be filled with friends and family, take a minute for yourself to just relax. But first, make sure you take care of all those last minute details - purchase the flowers, make a quick trip to the grocery store, tidy up the house, and get your dishes ready. Then pour yourself a glass of wine and relax!

We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
