Winemaker Andries Blake used grapes from several growing areas throughout the Western Cape for this Shiraz. The deep, rich colors and bright fruit flavors from some of the warmer vineyard districts shine through in the bottle: jammy blackberry, dark cherry, earthy notes. Subtle hints of brown spice, cinnamon and toasted oak woven throughout.
Malolactic fermentation gave the blend a rich texture. Blake added a touch of Merlot for layered complexity. This one stays with you.
