2005 Black Swan Chardonnay & Semillon

Everyone knows about Chardonnay, but Sémillon used to be much more widely planted around the world. Sémillon can make either dry or sweet wines that belong on the top shelf. In this case, it adds body and interest to a dry, crisp Chardonnay blend.

Very likeable range of fruit flavors in a richly textured wine. Sweet melon, citrus flavors with overtones of honeysuckle. Finishes like a sigh at the end of a sentence.
