Merlot grapes from Lodi, one of California’s hot new AVAs, contributed flavor, balance and texture to this plush, silky wine. Winemakers took time to cold soak the grapes, preserving their intense, luxurious flavors.

Aromas of red cherry, berry and currant. Subtle notes of vanilla and toasted oak from barrel aging. We like this wine beside ravioli in a creamy tomato sauce.

 Turning Leaf expanded beyond its California roots and turned to the renowned Pfalz region in Germany for this crisp, aromatic Riesling. Shows a nice balance between sweetness and acidity. Fragrant aromas of lychee, pineapple and soft spice. We get subtle undertones of baked apple.

Winemakers used a very gentle membrane press to extract the juice from these Sauvignon Blanc grapes, giving the finished wine an abundance of bright fruit flavors. Winemakers at Turning Leaf selected grapes from Lodi near the north end of the Central Valley, a region known for developing full-flavored Zinfandel. They kept the juice in contact with the grape skins just long enough to get a brilliant salmon hue in the finished wine.

Flavors of freshly picked strawberries and raspberries mingle with hints of citrus blossom. Try it with vanilla ice cream and fresh seasonal berries for an after-dinner treat.
