    Baked Ziti

    • 1 16-ounce package ziti
    • 1 26-ounce jar tomato pasta sauce
    • 1 15-ounce container ricotta cheese
    • 1 8-ounce pkg mozzarella cheese, shredded
    • 1 egg lightly beaten
    • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
    • Pinch ground nutmeg
    • 1/4 cup romano cheese
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Boil pasta following package directions; drain. Grease 2-quart casserole. In a large bowl, blend ricotta, pasta sauce, 1 cup mozzarella, egg, parsley, garlic, pepper and nutmeg; stir in ziti. Spoon into prepared casserole and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and romano cheese. Bake until top is golden, about 30 minutes.
