Bruschetta Margherita
Recipe
- 1 loaves Italian or French bread, diagonally cut into 3/4-inch slices
- 1 large cloves garlic
- 1/6 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 jar (13 oz.) Tomato & Basil Sauce
- 12 thin slices fresh mozzarella cheese (about 3 oz.)
- 1/4 cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves, cut into thin strips
In preheated oven, broil bread slices until golden; rub with garlic, then brush with Olive Oil. Evenly spoon unheated Sauce over bread, then top with mozzarella and basil
